Responsibility is the Key
Life takes us through many paths that we don’t always intend to take. It takes us through high, wonderful moments and low, trying times. What these paths have in common is that each of them has challenges and problems along the way that must be solve, ultimately, promoting personal growth. Many people see these problems as times of suffering, asking themselves why me? This is life teaching us that we are responsible for our reactions. We must take responsibility, and act in the best way we know how.
Everyone on this planet has a problem, or two. Why? Because without them life would be pretty boring. People mostly stress about things that are relatively unimportant to their lives. Stressing about work and stressing about broken relationship are two of the most common sparks of stress. But what do these really do for you? Issues like these give you a change to reflect. But how often do you really stop and think if you were wrong and how you can improve yourself?
Taking responsibility for your own actions will make you see problems from a different angle. Solving one problem opens solutions to another and as soon as you do that, the stress level in your life will be cut down to small significantly. Learn lessons from your own mistakes and from successes, because each time you can learn and apply it to other scenarios that may happen later on in your life.
Taking responsibility for actions and thoughts will make your life easier. You will be happier with yourself, and you will have better, stronger, more meaningful relationships. You will have more courage and patience, which are both hard to master. Especially Patience, as ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle said: “Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.”
Next time you are facing issues, be ready to act. Put aside the blame and excuses and you will be amazed what you can achieve.
